A bus driver continued to drive until finding a safe area to stop after being hit by a falling rock in Zhaotong City of southwest China's Yunnan Province last Thursday.
Zhao Shuang, the driver, was driving a bus on a mountain expressway on a rainy day. The surveillance camera on the bus recorded the scary moment when a fallen rock suddenly broke through the bus windshield and hit Zhao.
Zhao endured excruciating pain and continued to drive nine minutes to park the bus at a service zone.
Zhao was sent to hospital for treatment, and diagnosed as having excess fluid in his lungs and multiple rib fractures. He is now recovering.
