The Chinese Ambassador to the WTO Zhang Xiangchen refuted to criticism towards China's economic model by the US side during the meeting of General Council of the World Trade Organization in Geneva on Thursday, saying China is acting in accordance with the provisions formed by the WTO through negotiations, and that China benefits the world while developing itself.
The US released a document prior to the meeting attacking China's trade policies and its economic system, to which Zhang repudiated through four points: the U.S. is taking its own ideas as the position of others and even multilateral rules; there is a lack of consistency in the criteria for evaluating the nature and impact of policies; there is no logical relationship between the arguments and their supporting facts; and the choice and use of arguments lack a rigorous attitude. http://www.cctvplus.com/news/20180727...
